Greetings Well here we are into the second half of 2010 and one wonders where the time has gone. The 136th Imperial Session went well even though the weather was a little warm and humid. The parade was very good with a lot of units participating, taking about two and a half hours to complete. The results of the call will be presented at the August 24th Stated Meeting. I would like to remind everyone of some of the activities and events that are coming up. Friday August 6th we will be going to the LA Hospital, visiting with the kids and staff and a tour of the hospital for those who have not seen it. On Saturday the 7th we will be fishing or shopping and having fun. Sunday the 8th we return to Vegas. Saturday August 14th is the St. George, UT parade. We go up on the 13th and have a BBQ that night and parade the next day and return to Vegas after the parade. Contact Noble Hank Koppen for more details. Sunday August 22nd at 4:00 PM is the Lance Burton Show to benefit Zelzah Shrine. Tickets are available at the Shrine office. See ad in this issue or contact Asst. Rabban Al Oppegard for details and info. Saturday September 25th is the Pahrump parade and I would like to see as many units there as possible. October will be a busy month with the Potentates’ Cruise 1st thru the 9th, Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospital for Children Open Golf Tournament 18th thru the 24th, then our first weekend of Zelzah Shrine Circus 29th, 30th and 31st.
